fender/spot weld removal
I have done the searches on removing the fenders and how to drill out spot welds. I have very little welding experience so this may be an obvious question for somebody with experience. But once you drill out the spot weld, when you're putting the part back on can you just reweld the spot weld? You only drill through one of the mating pieces when removing it, can you just put the piece back on that has the hole in it and weld around the hole? Will it still have the same strength of the original spot weld?
Thanks

Yes to all your questions. Sometimes you end up drilling thru both pieces (all the time in my case) and you just fill up the holes with your MIG welder.
