I took the day off with the hope of pulling my 914 together in time for the 9:14 breakfast, and Dyno Day on Saturday morning, and came oh so close.
The car is basically done, I fit the chrome bumpers, installed all of the trim pieces and cleaned the interior today. However it seriously feels like the brakes need to be bled, one of the tail lights is out, my fog lights did not come in, and my SUV driving friend with my good wheels and tires is the back went MIA for most of the afternoon Anyway, hopefully I will be driving on Sunday. I was able to back out and take a couple of pictures anyway ![]() http://www.itvl.com/porsche/914close/ ~Eric

Eric, looks great! Nice antique tags, got them on my car. Who did your painting?
Phil, where in Jax are you? I used to live in Deer Creek until '96. You in with the local PCA folks? Cindy Hill is a friend of mine, she's in this months Pano shown racing her 944. She's full bore, all the time, lotta energy! |

I was born in Jax, lived there ('73) again from '94 - '00. Nice little town, lots of relatives there.

Nice work
![]() I can't wait to see the car up close. That color is great on 914's and it will make the 914 stand out even more now. Cheers Kerry

looks slick, nice job! Is that an original color? If so, I think it's the color my car used to be.

Eric,
Car looks great, let me know when/where I can get a look at it in person. Shoot me a PM or e-mail ! I also have some old parts from my car that you might be able to use (some old 4-bolt Fuchs etc from before my conversion, + more). TTYL Nathan PS: Time for me to return your paint guy's phone call ASAP

I will try to address everyone's question in one post
![]() The car was originally painted in Ancona Blue Metallic It was a color that Porsche used on the 914 in 1975 and 1976. Being that I was back dating the bumpers and making the car appear that it is an earlier model 914, I decided to go with the Adriatic Blue that was used on the 914's in 1970 -1973. I did backdate the bumpers, and what a chore it was An independent guy in Arlington did the painting. PM me for more info, and how to get in touch with him. ~Eric
