Specs for 911 engine valve springs
I have found a video on YouTube by KlassikATS that provides the valve spring heights and valve spring pressures for 911 intake and exhaust valves.
For seat pressure, the heights are 42 mm for both the intake valve and the exhaust valve. The seat pressure is 44 pounds +/- 5%. For the intake valves at full pressure, the height is 30.5 mm. The full pressure is 176.5 pounds +/- 5%. For the exhaust valves at full pressure, the height is 31.5 mm. The full pressure is 165.3 pounds +/- 5%. The heights are measured from the top of the valve spring retainer to the bottom of the valve spring seat with both the outer and inner valve springs in place. Where can I find a spec sheet showing these values? Thanks Lauran |

Possibly in the 911 Little Spec Book? Or maybe in the 911 workshop manual? I'm not sure, as I only have a modest familiarity with those.
You can try asking in the 911 tech forum and/or the 911 engine building forum for answers as well. You may have more luck getting folks with relevant experience there. --DD
