Rear trunk latch not holding
My trunk latch just decided to quit holding on. What adjustments are suggested?

oil and make sure the lock btton is not stuck in

Lock button is functioning. I can see the catch push in when I press the button. It seems to return to full position when I let go.

The hex or oct nutplate the on top of the spring over the lock bolt loosened up and the bolt wouldn't hold in place. Tightened it and it holds now. We'll see for how long.
