75 2.0 / Loss of power
My car feels like it is underpowered, especially in 4th and 5th gear. I just set the timing this weekend and the car feels like it is running fine. New cap, rotor and plugs but the original plug wires and coil
Any ideas? ~Eric

Mayber the plug wires are mixed up and you are running on 3.
You could have miss set the timing too so its not advanced right by using the wrong mark. Check in the tech articles for the template for the timing marks . Geoff

Did it feel the same before you put in the new parts? Or did it get worse or stay the same? I agree with the timming check, make sure you go exactly by the article on how to do it. I'd also check the resistance of the plug wires and they might need replacement too I'd imagine. Try the "run the engine in the dark" test to see if there are any voltage or spark leaks. Good luck.
