I have run into a wiring problem I was hoping someone could help. I have a 1975 914, 2.0 and I’m trying to reconnect the dash wiring. Everything seems to be working except the high beam indicator light. I have several guides showing what wire goes to what but I’m having a problem identifying the wires. They have not been changed out they are factory but some of the colors have faded. I show #9 on a diagram shows high beam light is a white/blue stripe. I have 3 white wires that I can’t tell what color the stripe is. I have tried several combinations but none work. Everything else works just this one issue. I’ve checked the flasher relay and it works fine. This might sound like a stupid question also but are both the right and left turn signal off the same light ? Most cars have a right and left light to show what flasher is on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
