My father and I have seen his shop. Now i would like to hear from someone who has bought one of his motors for the street and here about how it has held up.

I have no experience with his 914 engines, but I bought an 1835cc. VW long block from him many years ago, and it's been bulletproof. From what I've read lately, his 914 engines are as good or better.
