Source for this Distributor Ignitor?
 

My 914 has this module in the distributor but I find no reference to the number on the Internet. I’d like to get a spare for long trips. Can I assume the modules sold by our vendors with a different number are the correct substitute?

That's a gnarly looking rotor. The trigger points, cap, wires and plugs may also be in rough shape and should be replaced before you take that long trip.

Looks like someone dug the resistor out and replaced it with straight wire and epoxied over it.

No idea on the trigger unit. The only Hall-effect ones I know of off the top of my head are Pertronix and Compufire.
