tranny swap thought
has any body ever put a 944/audi 5000 tranny in a 914 it looks interesting and like it might fit
also if you go to this link it says the shifter is very similar to a fiero ( stop thinking about banning me from the bbs ) shifter, so modifing a shifter or making one using the 'other' shifter as a base to start with should not be too bad and you just got to see what the tranny looks like http://www.lambolounge.com/Chassis/Transmission/5000/5000.asp
