Group Buy..Ceramic Lifters, Type IV

Regular price is $400 direct from Schubeck Racing

I already have 2 sets to order, one more and I can get the price down to 380 per set.(shipping is a few dollars more)

Lifters can be re-used on new or used camshafts.

These will require that the lifter bores be opened up .002" more than stock.
(this ensures a perfect smooth bore)

another plus to these lifters is that they are lighter and are .25" longer, meaning that the push rod can be shorter and stiffer......

Anyone???

I have ceramics in my 2056 right now as purchased from LN Engineering.

After my initial Webcam cam/lifter failure, which hosed up my cam, one non-properly hardened lifter, and the associated lifter bore, I went with the .002" larger diameter ceramic lifters and have had ZERO problems to date. Of course, that's only 300 miles on it too.

If you can afford ceramics, they are the way to go. Keep in mind you need to re-do your valve geometry since the lifter cup is higher in the lifter, the bores need to be remachined (not many places can do this properly), and you'll need different pushrods most likely.

I got away with running hydraulic chro-mo pushrods and LN Engineering did my lifter bores for free (since I bought from them, and they have a special tool for this, NOT HONING). So far so good, and I'm happy even if a bit lighter in the wallet.

Later,

G
