Question Caliper rebuild kits

I am getting near having to replace front brake pads. Should I get a rebuild kit to do that at the same time? How do I know if it's required? Are there any specific problems to look for when doing front brake pad replacement that would warrant having the rebuild kit on hand? What does the kit include?

Thanks,
Al

1.) Is one pad worn more than the other? - indicates sticking piston
2. Is brake fluid leaking from one side of the caliper or both? - indicates bad seals
3. Are the dust boots shot or missing - allows junk into the cylinder/bore area

All of the above indicate a rebuild should be done, at least to me.
