Need source for cad-plated metric hardware
Most of my nuts and bolts are fine and I can replate them or clean them up and re-use them..
Some of the suspension bolts I don't want to replate as they can be weakend. I also have some bolts that have seen better days. Anyone know of a comprehensive source of yellow zinc-chromate plated metric fasteners that will allow you to buy in smaller quantities (not boxes of 100). I need hex-head and allen-bolt head bolts, and some washers and nuts as well. I'm looking for grade 8.8 and 10.9 stuff. Most of the places here have either stainless, or lower grade pieces and the selection is crappy. Thanks, Karl |
In San Diego
I'm sure you could google search your way to something/ BTW - Have you considered going MIL spec on the 914? |
Find the closest airport and then look around and you'll find fastener suppliers. In San Diego we have Marshall's and ABABA-QA which sell everything, even left handed metric bolts and
nuts! |

Talk to your local Caterpillar tractor dealer.
