Has any one welded in new jack points? If so, did you weld all 4 sides closed? Or would it be a good idea to leave the bottom weld open for water drainge? Our labor day weekend will be spent laboring on the car.
Thanks in advance, Clay and Dad

It's difficult or impossible to weld the top side because the
fender is in the way. The factory support piece has a large drain hole in the bottom, if your replacement piece doesn't have a hole (mine didn't) I would drill one or pound the support piece so it has an opening (looks like the bottom of the rails where the factory did the same). Hey boogerboy72,
I have a place in Lexington, N.C. My main residence is in Maumee, Oh. Send me an email through this board. Next time I,m in Lexington, I'd like to stop by and see your cars. I have done quite a bit to mine by myself and maybe I could offer some suggestions or help. Jim
