$900.00 Reserve ?

Do you think it will hit the $900.00 reserve? I am thinking it wont. I can buy a complete car for close to that.

ya I kinda doubt it'll make 900, especially if it doesn't come with teh fuch's for that much. If it was complete minus the engine/tranny I think it'd hit 900, but without wheels and having that fender off kinda makes me wonder....

Basically he is just selling a shell without the interior, the wheels, and the fender off. I just dont think he will get much. He must be from Atlanta.

that is a solid looking car though. I just did a full transfer from a very rusty car to a car that solid. It has been a long process, but even with all the work, it is a recommended upgrage. I finally called it quits on the other car after I put a set of decent tires on it and took it for a twisty mountain road drive, and when I got home, both the door sills were cracked and I couldn't open the passenger door. A sad day, but it made me build a good, rustless one. the silver lining, I suppose.

If it was really a 36K mile car then why did it get a very bad green paint job? The left side of the car also looks a little wavy, dinged and scraped up. I'm guessing that this is more like a 136K mile car.

I've seen this car for sale several times over the last few years and it's never sold.

Hey, not everyone in the Atlanta area feels their cars and parts are worth a mint.

Anthony,

I believe him with the 36k miles on it....Brad Roberts bought a similar chassis from George a few years ago.....same deal, very, very low milage and except for minor things like the cosmetics (door dings, a wave here or there and the fender) the chassis was SOLID......this is a great deal for someone wanting a solid chassis to build upon.

A solid chassis is the heart of a good 914...who give's ***** what it looks like...paint and bondo can mask pretty much anything.

Too many people just go on looks which is too superficial with our cars

"NO RUST whatsoever ANYWHERE."

If someone states something like this I would expect just that! Fire does things to metal, this car isn't worth crap, at least to me. I have fixed some decent rust on my car and would gladly prefer to deal with that than a fire damaged car. There is a ton of rust on that car slowly developing. It was not cured and that is what it is come through the primer.

Well, the reserve has been met. I agree with the fire damaged metal. There is no way to keep it from rusting after that. I have seen it many times. Once it is burned, it is gone. Someone is going to be very unhappy with their new car.
