Where to get FI hose clamps?
 

I need about 15 FI hose clamps.
Can I get these from my local VW dealer?
How much are they typically?

There are several types of hose clamps ranging from cheap to expensive. The cheapest are the ones available at most any auto parts store, next are the clamp type with a small machine bolt used to squeeze the clamp (can be formed wire or strap), next are the German type that are similar to the cheap ones but the band is solid and they are more expensive (tighten better) and finally there are aircraft type with a sliding piece of stainless that goes under the screw housing so no pinching will occur. I use the aircraft type when ever possible althought the German ones are pretty good and cheaper ones shouldn't be used on FI systems as they can cut the hose and you'll get leaks and possible fires!!?? Try VW or German repair shops or dealers. Good luck.

I got mine from Pelican. They're made in Sweden, IIRC, but look stock.
