911 pistons?

are there any 911 pistons (or cylinders) that can be used on a 914? I know someone has asked the question before and I am sure the response was along the lines of: "Uhhh, no! dumbass!" but I was just curious...

many 911 pistons are "domed" so they will interfere with 914 valves if they could be used but, no (expletive deleted ) they are most likely the wrong bore anyway. 1.7's are 90mm, 1.8's are 93mm and 2.0's are 94mm. i bet 911's are less. then you've got all those issues with pin height..... pin offset.....

the 2.7 used 90mm bore and the 3.2 used 95mm bore... that's what got my gears turning... I thought you could get flat-top versions, I didn't think all 911s were domed
