Headers
I am building a set of header pipes for a 2.0 these are a equal lenght 2 into 1 to a Dansk 911 RS muffler. Should I build a jig? would anyone else be interested in this? Steve

This would be for a 2.0 4 or 6? If for a 4 I might. What would the cost of the headers and exhaust be? thanks Brian

It is for the 2.0 type4.The pipes from the heads to the Muffler would be in the $200 range. That muffler is `$305

Steve I would be definately interested in the headers. I have a stock 74 2.0 muffler, would the headers fit with my muffler?

Nope. The stocker has four pipes that go into it, the Six muffler pictured only has two.
It would be interesting to see how the header system performs versus stock and versus the other headers that are known to work. (Kerry Hunter, European Racing, Tangerine Racing.) --DD |
Check out MSDS ... I have a set of Marty's headers on my MFI 2.4S and they're great. Of course, I'd really like a set of 914-6 headers with built in reversion cones if anyone has a set for sale ...

Again, your Six bias is showing. Marty won't do four-cylinder stuff, which is what Steve is talking about. Four-cylinder headers to use a six-cylinder muffler.

I have one of those 6 cyl mufflers I might be willing to part with.....

I'm terrible. I got busted big this time ... I didn't even read most of the responses. My head is hanging in shame .... :(

The Headers I am building are for Street use not racing. They are for bottom and mid range. Steve
