Targa side seals (too long?)
I just received a set of side seals and a front targa seal from P Parts. Everything is great except one of the side seals seems too long. The angled end dosen't line-up with the vertical glass seal. My targa top sits high on one side due to this.
Can I just cut back the seal or is there another way? The seal is tight against the front seal when latched down. Cheers Kerry

What about the height (or thickness) of the new side seals? I got mine a few years ago and they seam a little taller than normal. They fit fine against the window but the roof sits high in the trunk causing a need for a lot of pressure to close the trunk. It has also caused a lot of wear on the roof from the ribs under the trunk lid. I'm not happy about them but I am afraid that if I got another set, the condition would be the same.
Anyone else have this problem? |
