Carpet on the Firewall Picture
Some people have asked about carpeting in place of the pad? Here's a picture of the carpet I have on the fire wall of the race car. The edging is easily sewn on with most any sewing machine. The panel with the edging is held on with 1 inch velcro so I can check some bolts that are in that area.
