Owwwaaaahhhh, why not. I loved the ride there, and the geographical scenery there was beautiful too! (Although some of the scenery could have been left out.)

If people want La Bufadora, they can make their own sounds....

James

Think about this: Why do they have "Oom-pa" bands where lots of beer is consumed. Think about it....

Cool Scott! Did you sell your motor? (of course you did)

I am interested to hear what you think right off about the 2270.

Yeah I sold it to a guy in South Carolina. They need more 914's on the road back there. I had it posted for like a month or so. Then I had about 4 guys all want it at once. The first one to show me the money, got the motor. It ships out on the 7th.

I had totally stopped checking the classifieds while I moved up north. The first day I check them and your motor had already been on there a week! Oh well.

That is good for me. I will have the 2270 in and running great by that time. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with you this time. And I dont mean just in the curves. That was not the problem. This time hopefully you will not be leaking anything to stick to my front bumper.

Well, the engine will be a little different and I'm adding sway bars and stiffening the chassis.

Of course, if Margarita has a say, I'll be driving the 911...She likes the cushy seats better....

Well next year on the runs, I will have no problem keeping up or even passing you in the Chalon. As long as the tranny holds up.

The way I have it now, it will be around 360 but if I can get the tranny modified the way I want, I may top it at 400. I hear you are pretty good with the transmissions, what are you doing this winter??

The way I am building the engine it will be all high RPM HP. The power band wont come in till around 3500 and go to about 7500. The low end torque is the trans killer so the torque will be all upper end also. Should be around 380 to 440 after about 3000 RPM.

None now, I am still spending it on the rest of the parts to get this together. I still have to finish the body and paint it yet too. Like I said, maybe next spring I will have it ready to go.
