Bodywork Question
My '74 project has a crunched front fender. The damage is around the front blinker and is very distorted and not worth fixing. I cut the damage out and I am curious if it would be worth it to change the entire fender instead. ( I cut a vertical line from the bottom of the fender to the top, just behind the side marker.) Thanks, Pete

It is usually easier in the long run to change the fender. Your welds will be in concealed areas as opposed to right down the side of the fender. From the underside, it will look better as well. Won't show up as a red flag that the car has been hit.

Good point Milt, I would do it the same way. In fact, I have! I have a done a front and a rear fender. It's the only way to go.
