PCA Valuation

Anyone else done one of these? What is your feeling on the price they quoted?

I did it a few years ago. It was valuable data, as they basically collect and group/average real market listings. The only problem is (I think) their figures are mostly based on for-sale ads (asking price) not true selling price. Bruce Anderson does try to collect actual sales prices for his price guides (and he is/was on the valuation committee) but again the numbers are skewed because only some specific population of p-car owners will bother to write and report their actual selling/buying price to PCA.

Anyways...it is definitely a nice service to have available if you're a PCA member. It used to be free, too, how many things can you say that about anymore!

Still is. I had both the Blond and the as yet named SC valued.

I was surprised that the Average Value for the 1970 914/6 came in at $19,830!

The 82 SC seemed about right. $15,740.

With the engine upgraded to 2.7RS spec, side shift conversion and the other planned under the skin upgrades, I think the 914/6 will soon hit the 90% level of $24,680

And I'll be honest after I see it, but I expect the 911 will also be in the upper ($18,930) end, not the average value, since I am having it painted and the interior redone.

No, it's not a stalker, it's just people calling for people who aren't home @ 1-2-3 in the morning.

It pisses you off, when you do 12-16 hour days for a month without a day off.

I get angry about everything.
