Vinyl Padded Targa Top?
Here's the scoop. A guy offers me a bunch of free parts which I quickly picked up. 4 doors , 2 rear trunk lids, 1 front fender, gas tank, rear bumper, and 2 targa tops. The pisser is that most all of it is junk. (sat outside for 6 years) The strange part of the bunch is one of the targa tops. It is padded and covered with black vinyl. At first, I thought it was a custom job, but it looks like it is from the factory this way. Ring any bells? Thanks , Pete

Nope, someone just did a really nice job on it. I got one on a parts car that had a padded top covered in like a canvas type cloth top like the newer cars. Once it got dirty, it was hard to clean so it went with the parts car.
