![]() BTW Nathan, we were looking for you and dezel12345. we had a long BS session with the guy selling the white/flared/5 bolt/fuchs/1.911 w/alfa romero air cleaner thingy. maybe scott will post his pix of the 3 white cars....

Dang it...I know I bailed on you guys today...sorry about that. I was busy till about 11:30. I figured all of the goodies and you guys would be gone by then. You weren't supposed to tell me that I missed something good, sheesh
![]() Nathan PS: Keep me up to speed on the Scott's tech/valve session. I'd love to know how to do that stuff on my own!

I was there, I am pretty sure Justin was out of town this weekend. I got there kind of late, but there was still a good amount of stuff kicking around. It seems like there were a whole lot of 914 parts this year.
I think the deal of the day was all of the 914 parts that we found for free ![]() ~Eric

That is the oil filter console and filler neck for a 914/6GT!!!!! The extra connections are for the external oil cooler. They used a stock tank with some add ons like you have there.
If you want to sell them, I would be VERY interested.

If you are trying to do an 914/6 conversion, I have a complete, never installed Vellios oil tank and all the lines that I would trade for what you have in the picture.

And I think I'll spend about half again what I spent on the letters to buy the clips to mount the letters from our host.

Looking forward to the pictures.
Jim asked about winter projects at the breakfast gathering and I'm starting to make my list. Mostly bodywork. Jim knows how to paint, evidently, since he no longer drives the Nautica 914? |

The yellow one would have to go on top of the car near the tail, if I remember my aviation stuff correctly. Then you'd be aeronautical.
But we digress. I'm still interested in learning how to do some basic bodywork and paint without resorting to building a paint booth in my garage. Wheels, headlight covers, front and rear valences and rocker panels, etc. are the things I want to make right. Anyone have any sources of knowledge? john |

again the name: norustscott; comes up. he completely restored his 914 so since we've seen the result, i'd say he's an excellent source. remember on the fun run to richmond how he listened to carolines car for about 2 seconds, then tweeked the idle mixture on her ECU and cured her stalling problem? wow. i've got 13 years on him (cronologically) and he's got 13 years on me (mechanically)
