Hello,
Not new to the forums but this is the first post. I am rebuilding a teener and I have jake doing the engine work for me. Does Anybody have a decent used flywheel I can buy? Mine was paper thin!! Thanks, Geoff C. |

Check the classifieds section on this website. There's a few who dismantle 914's all the time that might have one. I know I have one somewhere but can't find it. If I find it I'll let you since I live close to you. BTW what size engine is Jake building for you?

Geoff,
If you can afford a 2270 with Nickies from RAT surely you can spring for a new flywheel. And besides, I thought Jake wants the flywheel and clutch assembly so he can balance and index everything before he builds the engine.Mike |

True,
Now...Now let not get fussy. Just because I could pay for a 2270 from jake doesn't mean that I can pay for anything else now. I resorted to panhandling and being a gigilo to pay for this weeks gas for my truck. They are $$$$. Eveyone assures me that they are worth every penny.![]() He used a spare flywheel he had in the shop. I needed to find a replacement for that one. Geoff |
