Anyone have a used 914-6 oil tank?
I know this is a long shot, but I need a used oil tank and lines for my 914-6 conversion project. I got one from a 911 thinking it would work. It won't. Anyone need a 911 oil tank?

I have seen the 911 oil tank used and mounted in the front trunk....the lines are rather long, but some people swear by it...but they also put the oil cooler up there too....

I had planned on useing the 911 tank for my conversion. I was going to cut a hole in the rear trunk floor and mount it there. The tank would be half-way in the trunk compartment and half-way sticking out from underneath. It might not be stock, but if done right it could look decent. FYI the new boxsters have the oil and coolant intakes in the rear trunk.
I decided not to do a six conversion and sold everything, that why I didn't mount my tank. ------------------ Mike Mueller Antioch, CA 1970 1.8 |
