Momo Hub for a 1970 /4

Is there any way to mount a aftermarket steering wheel to my 914, I have looked every where and all of the Hubs for the earlier cars are NLA, and I am sure that the model 8002 for 72-76 Hub's will not work. Please I need help I want an aftermarket steering wheel. TIA.

Very infrequently, a Momo #8000 adapter for the 70-71 914-4s gets offered on Ebay, but you may have to watch for a long time before encountering one.

There are still some available, and I think some of the more experienced members of the 914 community could be helpful in locating one for you.

A couple of ideas others expressed while I was in the hunt for one: find a spare parts 914, remove the steering wheel mount and re-drill it for the Momo spacing. Not having done this before, I was unclear on the details. And, one guy I corresponded with offered to make me an adapter from billet aluminum, for just $250.

Soooo, I kept watching Ebay. Hopefully, someone will have a better idea for helping you find one.

What about changing the steering column to a 72-76 column and using the available 8002 adaptor? Im not sure about this.

Dave,

Check out http://www.bakerprecision.com/momoindx.htm

They list the adapter for the 914-4, 71 @ $69.00.
