Check the 914-6 conversion guide here on Pelican. The hole sizes are there!
http://www.pelicanparts.com/914/914-6_construction_kit/914-6_info_guide.htm 4" to 4.5" for the oil filter 2" for the breather hoses 2.5" for the filler neck 1.5" for the 2 hole return line holes.

Hello, Steve.
I have the factoru tank, and I want the exact hole size as original if possible. Unfortunately, the sizes given in the Conversion Guide are approximate..does anyone have exact numbers please? Kind regards David |

Just happen to have the hole pattern sheet in front of me.
The sizes are .....from the fwd bottom, up & aft (i love the nautical stuff) 1.25, 4.0, 1.75 , 2.5.....that's the easy part. There are 2 mounting holes of about .32. As in real estate, location, location, location. The toughest one to locate is that first one....no convenient upset area locates the sucker. A couple other pitfalls (did I tell ya I've BTDT?). Rubber grommets for the mounting studs are needed. That lowerhardtolocate hole is also used as a mount....it holds the bottom of the tank tight to the inner wall. I came up with "something"... BF washer, with rubber washers inside & out....all pinched by the metric to AN adaptor that I had to use....hay, it works. You also have to pop an oval hole into the engine shelf to route the oil line to that lower hole......AND use some kinda grommet in the oval sucker to protect the line...I used split fuel line. The whole thing is a PITA. Enjoy.
