Engine R & R in O. C. Ca.

Hi All,
For my '73, 914-4 F.I.
Anybody know of a shop or two in North Orange County, Ca. that would be interested in removing my 2.0 & installing my 2.2??? If the cost isn't too high I'd be interested...
Thanks, SmileWavy

You might want to contact Steve's independant Porsche in Orange.
They are on Lincoln ave. and Glassell st.
Sorry, I don't have the phone number handy.

You can try Precision Motion in Riverside, CA (909) 784-0425

Maybe not OC, but they do know what they are doing in conversions (both 6 & V8).

Otto's? I heard he's pretty good....

Acox914, my teener is yellow, was red years ago. Painted it yellow 'cause yellow teeners are faster!!! ;)

Stay away from Pristine Motorsports in Huntington Beach.

http://www.pristinemotorsports.com/

They found my bad relay board problem.

Charged me $400+ for a rebuilt fuel pump.

And then repaired my trunk lid when I didnt tell them to.

Barely got out of there for $800+ ; and the car ran like ****.

It barely started and would not accel beyond 3000rpm

see the too links below for my experience.

Thanks To Everyone,
I'll contact Steve's as soon as my new engine is delivered. They're local to me & I would rather see my hard earned cash go to a local business than out-of-state.
Happy New Year everyone. Party like Big Dogs, but come home safe. SmileWavy
Let's bring in the New Year with a 2165!!! I can't wait to see what difference a stroker crank will make!

DeVito's in Orange is very good and reasonable, too.
