Ebay item inquiry

Curious if anyone has seen one of these for a type 4 VW engine, and if so, any positive or negative experience you'd like to share.

BTW, it almost looks like a waste of money to me, but I've been wrong before.

That is for a Rabbit motor not a T-4. Steve

I know, but I was wondering if anyone's seen one for a type 4.

Worried about the "oil tornado" robbing horsepower? Dry sump the engine and run an electric scavange/pressure pump.

I'm not concerned about HP losses, which I suspect are minimal at most. (Did I just say that???) My concern is oil pressure being affected by stray oil flying around in places other than my oil passages. Only in turns really, which is what this car is being built for.

Yes 914 owners, my bug is being built for the twisties. And tipping the scales at a stripped down 1.800 lbs, you tenner boys better watch out. BTW, Steve Stromberg put the suspension on it, and I've got 4 wheel disc brakes, 19mm master, and BIG sway bars.

I know I just opened a can of worms, but that's what makes this board fun right?

Happy New Years everybody!
