Side porsche decal application tips?

Dudes:
I got the side decals from the guy on ebay that sells them.
I was going to try and put them on tonight, so I wanted to see if anyone had done this already and might have a few tips for me.
Thanks!
Andy...

Yes.
Pre-measure and give your self a pile of reference marks (I use masking tape)
Get a NEW small squirt bottle and fill it with water and a small amount of dish soap. Spray a fine mist on both the car and the sticky side of the decal. The soap/water will allow you to make final adjustments to the decal before removing the transfer paper. Use a hard squeegee (a bondo spreader works well too - and they are super cheap at your FLAPS) and press all of the soap/water out from behind the decal. Set the car in the sun or use a hair dryer to really allow the water to dry out. Pull off the tranfer paper. Use a very sharp and very small exacto to pop any bubbles. this process can take hours of rechecking/popping. If you take you time, they will look almost as good as paint.

Andy,

I put on as described above . . .

then took it off after a week!

It was black & looked good with Ravenna green, but decided I didn't want to advertise what was already a Porsche.

Enjoy!

Cool, thanks for the instructions guys.
Hmmm, I know what you mean Gerard.
I bought these things a while back on ebay and I'm finally thinking I'll try to put them on. It's about 25 degrees here in WI. I have a heater in the garage, but I'm not sure if it'll get the temp up to something reasonable... my hands are getting cold just thinking about it!!!
I'm not sure if I'd like them on either, but I think I'll give them a try.
Thanks!!
Andy...
