caliper panting

What kind of paint did you use to paint oyur calipers? The only brush-on stufff i could find was like 40 bucks. Thats a little high for me. Anyone know of a cheaper source?

Eastwood caliper coating is the best for the money.
It lasts for years, and is not affected by brake fluid.
Nice silver color is the only choice, but looks great on a 914.
People who have used this stuff will know what I mean.
The brush on coated color stuff is good too, but big bucks.

how do you get your caliper clean enough? i cant get it clean enough with alcohol (nice on rubber seals), and brake cleaner (not so nice - keep away from rubber)
