weber rebuild kits

I have an older set of weber 40IDF's (with the roller on the pump diaphragm) is the only difference between the the newer (spring) and the older rebuild kits the diaphragm?

The diaphragm should be the same. Just the way its activated. The rollor type is activated from the cam on the throttle shaft......activating the accelerator pump.....or something like that. Not really sure how that works.
The spring is a direct push.

Awww hell.....dont expect me to try to explain on my day off.
