other 914 drivers
a rare thing happened to me today when i went to the grocery store, i saw another 914 in the parking lot! it had CO license plates on it, so i knew it wasnt a local car. I hurried in the store, so i could make sure and be back out in time to talk to the driver. i had to circle the lot a couple times before i saw him. i knew he was the owner of the other 914 when i did see him, because he was looking at my car like he really knew what it was. i stopped and talked to him, refered him to this site.
now i am wondering, since it was so much fun to talk to another 914 driver/owner, what it would take to have a get-together in the denver or fort collins area. i'm just north of there, and wouldn't mind traveling down to talk to other drivers/owners. anyone? |

Im a Florida owner of 3 914s (only 2 are on the road) and go to school in Boulder. I have my 1970 914 (the 970th 914 to ever roll off the line) here with me. I would be interested in meeting some more people that share my interest. Its always a good feeling to know there are others out there with similar passions.

Great idea. I'm in Fort Collins. I will be getting my car re-appraised at the local Porsche dealer soon. I will ask them if they would like to open up their lot one Sunday afternoon for a 914 gathering. What do you think?

i'm all for it. then again, i started the string, so you already know that i'm interested. I'd really like to go for a ride in a stock 914 to see how well my car moves when compared to an original.

ABSOLUTELY!
I am in Lakewood, and have another good freind in Arvada. We have been talking about just doing a morning drive and having breakfast. Let me know if I can help. Also, in June the PCA has a charity concours, and we are usually the only 914's there. It is for charity, and you do not have to be judged, so all are invited. Weekends are usually good for me. As long as I have some time to plan for it, I can get it off.
