AIR 9" & 11" flairs
Has anyone here fitted the American International Racing's (AIR) 9"&11" flairs to their street cars, how about Ultimate's "standard" (less wide) widebody? Anyone have picture of either on a (mostly) street car? Cost and installation experiences welcome.

I have a new set of AIR 9 & 11 flares I would like to sell. The rears fit very well, the fronts take a bit more work to fit. They use standard 9 inch rears on the front, left rear on right front, right rear on left front. I have one new set and one used set for sale.

Hi Doug,
Have you considered stretching the existing fenders? Not sure if you have already seen my album...pictures of a 914 flared this way fitting 15x8s, and could go wider... not too difficult at all: http://allshops.org/cgi-bin/community/communityalbums.cgi?action=openalbum&albumid=9980138836765 John www.ghiaspecialties.com

Doug I think it largely depends "how wide" you're trying to go and how much you're willing to cut up the car. For example the Sheridan (Ultimate914) setup essentially replaces the entire body except for the doors and targa bar (and you can even get those in f/g too).
I'd never read John's earlier posts but the metal-stretched flares are starting to look like an attractive option to me. I do not want to cut my car for f/g GT flares or fenders as I don't like their "look" and want something a little more smooth and stealthy. Currently I can fit at least 215's or 225's (on 7's) in the rear (rolled lip and pulled out) but some of my competition is running 245's-275's on early 911's... the grip difference is significant
