Exclamation will oven cleaner hurt my tires?

hello im going to strip the paint off of my mahles(to repaint) and im not going to take the tire off of the wheels. when i soak the wheels in the sun with the oven cleaner will the cleaner hurt my tires?

Read the can. Does it mention anything about not letting it contact plastics, or other petroleum products?

dont know dont have a can near me also when i ask my friends that are in the Pca what to use to strip the wheels with the tires on they say oven cleaner well im asking here cause it seems a bit odd oven cleaner and rubber

i used easy off on mine and it worked good, took forever though, as for the tires, i got some on mine and washed it off after i was done, no harm. i dont think you should soak your tires in the stuff, but getting a little on them and washing it off isnt going to hurt them.
