need Throttle body/TPS help

hello all,

my 1974 Djet 2.0 throttle body is shot.. and I think I ruined the electrical part of it also (TPS I believe)...

so what years and models of parts will interchange economically with mine... I'll hit the classifieds to find a used one after I know which specific ones will fit...

Like I said on the 914club board, get one from a 2.0 liter 914. I don't think any of the others mount correctly.

The early 73 TB has a simpler throttle bellcrank and no "supplemental return spring", but is fine to use.
Some/many of the 74+ TBs did not have vacuum advance fittings. You can simply leave the advance hose not plugged in.
If you get a TB with a vacuum advance fitting where you didn't have one earlier, just hook it up to the advance fitting on the distributor. No prob.

I think that the 1.7 and 2.0 TPSes are the same, but the 1.8 ones are very different.
