Engine grill edge trim-bulk material source
 

Hello,

Looking for a source for bulk i.e. un-cut material
used as edge trim along the 914 engine grill/lid.
This is the material that has a metal core and slips over the edge of the engine lid/grill along the rear and sides.
I am in need of a piece at least 6 feet long, so bulk is required vs. buying the precut pieces.
Any help much appreciated.

Auto body shop or supplier to such. They have trim like that (but thinner) for the edges of doors; I'd be very surprised if they didn't have the thicker ones that you need for the edge of the engine grill.
