Unhappy Messed up Djet

I have a 914 74 D'jet 2.0. Recently cleaned the TPS because of loss of power at highway speeds. Car ran great after that for a week.

Then while digging arround I found that the cold start valve had one wire frayed and disconnected. So I re connected it.

BIG MISTAKE!

That made the car hard to start and run very rough at idle and on the gas (feels like it is missing some cylinders)

1) I disconnected the CSV but it did not fix the problem

2) Now the fule pump is not going on when the ignition is first started. I replaced the relays on the relay board and all new fuses. I checked the voltages and the pump is getting power when the starter is cranking but not for the first few secconds when ignition is on.
It will start after cranking a long time but is still lacking any power and seems to still be missing cylinders. Making some white smoke.

Where do I start.
Is relay board defective? How can I check. I took it out and it is a bit cracked on the bottom sealer.

Could I have miss wired the CSV and killed my FI brain or rerlay board or anythign else?

Can I check that each injector is gettign the correct trigering voltage, they are all reletively new?

Thanks

Use this page to check out the FI system:

http://members.rennlist.com/pbanders/DJetParts.htm

You might start by checking the grounds of the fuel injectors, which attach at a 3-way clip at the upper back center of the engine case. You may have dislodged them while worlking on the CSV.

The fuel pump is triggered by the ECU on the first few seconds....

Its unlikely you miswired the CSV. One wire is power, the other grounds through the thermotime switch. Check for voltage at one of the two wire terminals. The CSV does not operate after the engine warms up...or in San Francisco, may never turn on at all...it needs something like 50F to operate at all.

WOW! That was it. This BBS is such a great place.

One of the FI ground spade terminals was disconnected.

Connecting it fixed the fule pump and the whole FI. Car runs great again.

Thanks.
