Sagging in the rear?
 

Dudes:
I took the 914 out and washed it today.
Also took a few pics while it was clean and out of the garage.
I will try to attach a pic here, but am not sure it will work.
Do you guys think it's sagging in the rear?
I've looked at other pics of other cars and they didn't seem as saggy.
Do I need springs and/or shocks?

Yeah, you do need rear springs, but until then (and after with most aftermarket springs IMO) you can easily slip the torsion bars one or two notches (literally) and lower the front. My front sprig setting is lower than stock and I prefer it.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1081135778.jpg

You may get enough adjustment simply by turning the adjuster bolts on the rear ends of the torsion bars.

914s were evidently delivered to the US with a nose-high attitude in order to meet US bumper height laws. Many, but not all, of the dealers dropped the nose to level the car.

Springs do eventually start to sag after many years. Lowering the front to match is a reasonable solution, provided you still have enough suspension travel at both ends.
