If there is a mailing list associated with that group, check on that to see if anyone is organizing anything. If not, you might think about organizing something fun yourself! Even if it's as simple as a 9:14 AM breakfast, you may have a few (or more than a few!) owners show up.

There has been, in the past, a Cincinnati area VW/Porsche meet around the 3rd weekend in Sept. Its held at the GE park on 747. Been there a couple of times. Found the posting under VW shows last year. Haven't found the listing yet for this year though.

It is pretty pitiful here for shows of the air-cooled kind. I just go to the regular street rod shows. The rodders are pretty friendly and I haven't gotten a joke jab yet. I'm waiting on Dave to see if he changes his mind on the Maumee show or not. I think there are some guys thinking of having it anyway for all of us Mid Westerners.
