How do you determine a 73 ' 1.8 motor ..Thanks Frank

914s didn't come with 1.8s until 1974. Here's a picture of a 2.0 but I have indicated where you can find the engine number on a 1.7 or 1.8L. North American 1.8 engine numbers start with "EC".
