Do you have a nice 914?
We¹re looking for some nice, neat cars from the ¹70s for an upcoming editorial test day at Road Atlanta. What kind of cars? Stuff like the Porsche 914 and 924, Triumph TR7, Alfa Spider, early VW Rabbit/Scirocco, BMW 2002/320i, Fiat X1/9 and 2000, Mazda RX-cars, Mercury Capri, Ford Fiesta, Datsun, Camaro/Firebird and so on. Cars from after the gas crunch are fine. What we ask: € Cars need to be presentable. € Cars need to run well and be able to handle a day of autocross testing. € No all-out race cars--no roll cages, no numbers. € One of our editors must be able to drive the car. € Car owner must have a cheery disposition. € Car and owner must be at Road Atlanta on Friday, April 21. Have something that fits the bill? Then let¹s play. Contact me at grmdavid@aol.com. Let me know a little about you and your car. Thanks. David S. Wallens, managing ed Grassroots Motorsports |

Would repairs/breakage by the editors be covered? |

I have a nice '73 2L and will damn sure be at Road Atl for Walter Mitty. Cheery? How about full of all the beer I can get my hands on? In truth I'll be selling it there if at all possible. I am wondering what compensation there is available if y'all test drive it. Got any promotional stuff to give away?? email me at ian.griswold@ndcecommerce.com |
