VW Porsche 914
In the process of selling my 911 and looking for a 9.5+ out of 10 914 1.8 or 2.0. Figured out why the 911 wasn't passing smog and now have a buyer - or so I think.
But for my real question. I saw a Revel model on ebay that said "VW Porsche 914". Was the 914 ever officially referred to as that? I personally have no "stigma" VW issues, but was just wondering. Thanks

in europe it was badged as a VW-Porsche
in the US, it was badged as a Porsche if you eventually get a 914, you will start on the road to more power, bigger engine, -6 conversion.... you might investigate if it would be cheaper to perfect your 911....

Nice car Tod, but I'd prefer a '74 or earlier. Also, $13k is out of my reasonable range for any 914 unless it's a -6 which I don't want. Cars I'm looking at are $5-$8k or so, preferably on the left coast, ideally in CA.

NP, Im sure you'll have a much easier time finding a nice car out there than someone searching on the "right" coast. Check classic car trader and 914club.com There are always plenty of 914s for sale there.
