Easy-Off oven cleaner. Don't let it sit too long on the wheels or it will start to eat them, but short applications will remove the anodizing along with most all of the dirt.

Caswells Plating has some anodize stripper I use in powder form. Just mix it up and it strips nicely, there is no fear of pitting the aluminum.

Just don't blow yourself up. Chemical process generates hydrogen gas ...

Any place to get centers, Fikse, reannodized other than Fikse? They charge $250 per wheel.

You might want to rethink removing your annodized finish. You are in for a world of maintence without it.

I agree. You have to really keep up with the polishing once the dye is removed. The aluminum starts oxidizing immediately.

polish them then have them clear powdercoated.
