Don't waste your time; there's no end to the story.
Here's the story so you don't have to waste your time: Guy lists a Powerbook for sale on ebay It doesn't sell but someone says they'll buy it if they guy will use an escrow service The seller figures it's a scam because the escrow service is fake The seller strings along the scammer and then sends him fake computer made out of a binder with a declared value of $2200 or so. The scammer bites and goes and pays the import taxes on the fake computer ($200 or so). That's it - they never hear back from the scammer. |
