The lady who answers the phone hasn't heard of us?

Call and ask for Mr. Hobart Kennedy himself..... He still owns the place and sometimes answers phones there..
They are very old school, and if you haven't been buying from them for 20 years they won't remember you... They just started remembering me! I bought my first flywheel from them when I was 13 years old! Beware, the bigger you are on the phone with them, the less they'll want to deal with you..... Very old school but they have great stuff!

Though I didn't tour the entire shop, there was no CNC equipment in sight. Big lathe's, mill, large drill presses, pressure plate assembly jigs and presses, etc. They seem to do things the old fashioned way. Still use tooling plates with drill bushings......absolutely nothing wrong with that!! Good thing is that they will talk with you.

Same here. The newest machine in my shop is the balancer... Its the only computer aided machine we have.
My big lathe that can lighten a flywheel in 12 minutes was made in 1938... Today everything you buy is just a glorified toy that looks good.. This big machine weighs 7,000 pounds and just had the 10HP electric motor rebuilt for the first time this year.. Still smooth as glass otherwise.
