Stock steering wheel differences

Does anyone know if the 914's stock steering wheel differed between years. It seemed to me that the columns were different and maybe the sleaves on the back of the steering wheel were different too. If there is a difference, what is it? Thanks

Ben

Don't know about the column but the horn contact plates are significantly different. The 70 - 71's use the long horn contact pin, later models have an improved(?) setup. I used a later steering wheel on my 70 and it required some parts changes.
