Fuel Pump

I have a new to me 1972 914. I am wondering what a fuel pump costs for it or should I put a remote electric pump on it. Thank in advance for your help. Paul

our gracious host has the facets I think... you will also need a regulator with it, I think... I know I have a $20 regulator with my facet pump

has the other one, but the facet works fine, and is 1/2 the $$$

Those original pumps are pretty pricey, i'd keep the FI system complete, if it worked, sell it as a complete set. People pay good money for a working system, and all you need is 3psi where as the D and L jet systems are upwards to 50psi.

I've seen complete systems go for well over $700, but at that point your married to the person you sold it too, and better have good replacement parts to keep their car running.
