Torsion Bar and Stock fuel tank??

I recently bought a 914 race car and will be turning it back into a streetable car. It has 911T front suspension including a 19mm torsion bar. This bar runs across where the stock fuel tank goes (at the bottom) but the fuel tank is not installed there because a Fuel Safe fuel cell is in the front trunk [for sale btw]. I'll be putting a stock tank back in but will it fit with the torsion bar in place??

Doug, as long as the swaybar was installed in the stock location(you can see the bosses where it mounts thru the body)the tank will fit. The early 914s came with this set-up as an option.
